It’s Always about the Money
February 18, 2024 Pastor: Dr. David Lorenz Series: Acts
Passage: Acts 19:21–41
There are numerous reasons we work. Companies do what they can to incentivize employees – reward programs, leadership/growth opportunities, and a fun workplace are just a few ways to motivate them. However, most people are motivated by money. We work to earn money so we can pay for our lifestyle. When that lifestyle is threatened, we tend to revolt (or at least complain). A group of silversmiths in the city of Ephesus had the same issue, and it resulted in a riot. Be careful how you view money!
