God has given us the wonderful opportunity to participate in a relationship with Him and His work. This opportunity is the gift of prayer. Because prayer is the spiritual backbone of the church, First Baptist Friendswood has multiple ways that you can become involved in prayer support for our church and others.
40 Days of Prayer
Beginning February 18, 2026, our church is joining with over 100 Houston area churches to prayer walk the metro area to Awaken Houston. To help with this initiative, please download the Holy Here app (free in Apple or Android app stores). This app tracks the distance of your prayer walk as the goal is 100,000 miles, covering our neighborhoods and communities in prayer. The following two resources will guide you as you pray over these 40 days, leading to Easter.

Prayer Life Small Group
A dedicated group meets every Wednesday in Building B, Rm B-200 at 5:30 pm to pray for our church, community and nation. Everyone is invited to come and pray.
