Famous Last Words

People’s final words can tell us a lot about their lives. For example, Queen Elizabeth I, in 1603, realized that even royalty could not stop time when, just before her death, she said, “All of my possessions for a moment of time.” As we discussed last week, how we finish matters. Our challenge is to finish well and remember the example of Jesus: giving is more blessed than receiving!
