Author David Green shares that life is not like Monopoly - collect all the money, property, houses, and hotels you can. Rather, “life is more like Uno or Crazy Eights, where the point is to run out of cards first. You want to deploy every card you have, knowing that each card left in your hand at the end counts against you. Don't get stuck at the time of your funeral with leftover cards.” Our task is to live to the fullest so that at the end of our life, it can be said of us, Well done!
It is an exciting weekend for us as we welcome our Worship Minister Candidate. Join us on Saturday morning at 10:30 am in the worship center for a meet and greet. On Sunday, he will lead worship in both services, and we will vote to affirm his calling as our next worship minister. I am so thankful for the search team: John Gilmore, Richard Vaughn, Devin Kern, Roslyn Miller, Katy Cummings, Matthew Todd, and Ben Forester.
