You may know the Port of Houston is the 5th largest port in the United States by shipping tonnage. It is the largest petrochemical-producing facility in the country. If you want something to come from or go to Europe, Africa, or the Middle East, there is a good chance it will find its way to the Port of Houston. In the ancient world, the city of Corinth held a similar significance. It was a critical port city that helped advance trade from Europe to Africa and Asia. Paul made a stop here, and it became his home for over a year. In his new home, he helped establish a church that impacted the world. May that be true of all of us – we help our local church change the world.
