Temptation and the Goodness of God

You may or may not be a fisherman, but we can all understand the concept of fishing with lures (artificial bait). They are beautiful and shiny, and have unique names like spoon, bucktail, jig, and plug. Though they are intriguing, they are extremely dangerous. Whether you are a fish or a human, you do not want to experience the consequences of biting or grabbing a lure. Once the hook on the lure grabs you, it is a painful experience. We all need to avoid being ‘lured’ in by our own evil desires.
