The Coming Savior

Christmas is always an exciting time, but it is also a hectic time, and it can bring out many different emotions. Think back to the ancient world. For centuries, there was no Christmas! Joseph and Mary weren’t planning their wedding during the Christmas holiday; they didn’t travel to Bethlehem for Christmas break. They were a young couple planning on marriage, and God reached into their lives and radically changed the trajectory of their future. God stepped into their betrothal; He steps into our lives to show us He is Immanuel, God with us.
