Serve: “The End is Near…”

When I was in college, we always had a few men that would stand on the street corner with their King James Bible and scream passages of scripture at passers-by. Inevitably, they would comment on how people were dressed or make assumptions about how sinful college students were. And, their favorite line was, “God is coming back to judge all of you.” I have always wondered if that doomsday preaching worked on anyone. Perhaps they would have been better off serving those students by buying them lunch or giving high fives as they walked to class. Are you “screaming” or serving?
