Collide 2024
We are getting excited as we approach Collide 2024! Our theme this year is "Exile"!
All throughout the Bible, the people of God are identified as exiles, strangers, foreigners. All of this points to the reality that this is not our home, we are made for another place. However, there are seasons where we forget or even reject it all together and embrace the ways of the place that is meant to be strange, foreign or exile to us. This year we will be walking through some of the book of Daniel to encourage/challenge us to live like Jesus in a culture that looks radically different from God’s Kingdom.
We will be combining with other churches for our Collide weekend retreat, with the main sessions being hosted at Bay Area Church. Our students housing will be held at First Baptist Friendswood Campus. Students will find out their same gender family groups, college leader, and schedule on Wednesday, January 10th, 6:30pm, in the FLC at our Collide kick-off. The weekend will conclude following the 11am service at First Baptist Friendswood on Sunday, January 14th.
Registration cost: $70, all meals included.
Required: A 2023-24 Student Ministry Medical Release Form will be required.
