Sunday At A Glance for Children

We strive to teach God's truth in ways that impact a child's choices and actions. We have a place for every age to attend worship or Bible Study on Sunday mornings, choir and mission opportunities on Sunday evenings.

Bible Study, Lil' K and KIDMO are great learning environments for kids; however, we provide this only as an option. Children are ALWAYS encouraged to attend worship with parents. FBCF offers two distinctly different worship services at 9:30 and 11:00.

Grade specific time of Bible study by using games, activities and story time.

Lil'K Children's worship is for children who are in Pre-K and Kindergarten. Lil'K meets in Building B in Room 108 Sundays at 9:30am

KIDMO Children's worship is for children in 1st - 4th grade. KIDMO meets in Building A at 9:30am.  Have your children join us on Sundays for an exciting time of worship.

CLUB 56 (5th & 6th grades)

Preteens are a great group of kids that have a special place at First Baptist Church Friendswood! We like to provide our preteens with a "mini youth group" experience each week. For this reason we offer special fellowships and Bible Study formatted similar to Student Ministry yet applicable to preteens.

Preteen Club 56 Bible Study meets in the Family Life Center during the 9:30 hour providing meaningful and relevant lessons for the preteen boys and girls.  Preteens attend the 11:00 Service.

Pre-K and Kindergarten  “PALS” (Praising and Loving Our Savior) Sundays 5-7 PM

Enjoy time to eat together (bring with you from home) and play together.  We will also be learning about the Great Commission and how that is shared throughout the world by being “Mission Friends”.

1-6 Grades  “CONNECT 4”  Sundays 5-7 PM

“Connect 4” will meet on Sunday Nights in Building A.  This is a time where 4 different groups will study God’s Word and make connections with others.

5:00-6:00  Kids will have dinner together (bring with you from home), spend time playing together in our game room and outdoors.  Just like adults, kids need time to connect with others and build lasting relationships.  Kids build these relationships through hanging out together.  This is a great opportunity for our older kids to get to know the younger ones and to build connections at church.

6:00-7:00  We will break into 4 groups for our teaching time:
5-6 grade Boys “Club 56 Connect”
5-6 grade Girls “Club 56 Connect”
1-4 Grade Girls  “DIVAS” (Devoted Individuals Vowing Allegiance to the Son)
1-4 Grade Boys  “BASIC Training (Becoming a Servant In Christ)

Our 5/6 graders will be doing a “book study” that will teach them how to study daily.  We are asking that each child purchase a book ($10) so they can take it home and bring back weekly.  We will have the books here at church on September 9.  The boys will be using “A Boy After God’s Own Heart” and the girls will be using “A Girl After God’s Own Heart”
