Students & sponsors bring luggage to the box truck at the FLC beginning at 8:45am Monday, July 18. Check-in will begin at 9:00am in the Gym of the FLC and we will leave by 10:00am. Return will be approximately 10:00pm, Tuesday, July 19th.
We will be going to a watering hole in the Austin area. We are staying at Austin Oaks Church Monday night and tubing the Comal River on Tuesday. Sleeping options: please bring blow up mattresses or sleeping bags.
We will be tubing with 444 Tubing in New Braunfels. They require a waiver for each participant. Below please find the links to the waivers. Print waiver, complete and bring with your student at check-in on Monday, July 18th. Parent Signature is required for all minors.
What to Bring:
Sleeping bag or air mattress, toiletries, church appropriate swimwear (one piece or if two piece a dark t-shirt to cover), towel and change of clothes for Monday and the ride home on Tuesday. Shoes for the river are also suggested as you will be walking on hot concrete.
What Not to Bring:
Expensive jewelry, electronics of any kind, drugs, alcohol, weapons of any kind, tabacoo, E-cigs, VAPE products
Sponsors Needed - All sponsors must have a background check on file with the church and be on the approved drivers list. See link below to register.
ALL incoming 7th-12th graders must have a 2021-22 Student Ministry Medical Release Form and a copy of their insurance on file before the trip.
Deadline to register is Thursday, July 11th so we can make sure to have enough transportation.
