Jars of Clay

In the mid 1990’s, a little band from Greenville College launched their music career under the band name, Jars of Clay. One of their members had read 2 Corinthians 4:7, and that phrase struck a chord with him. The band would go on to sell millions of albums, have success in both Christian and mainstream circles, and still tours a bit today. Many of their songs speak to the frailty of the human condition. We are fragile creatures, but the treasure that lives within us gives us strength and endurance each day.
