Sacrifice and Service

There is a story of a church debating the appropriate length of the pastor’s beard. These people expended a lot of energy debating a proper beard length. I am sure there were good reasons for every perspective, but how much time and breath were wasted on something that really didn’t matter. It’s easy to get caught up in debates that don’t matter and miss the calling to serve one another, follow Christ, and live faithfully for Him.
