The Main Thing

The life of Howard Hughes, a Texan, is a great example of the message of Ecclesiastes. At one point, he was one of the richest men in the world. He built a massive business empire, produced films in Hollywood, and revolutionized the aviation industry. He lived in luxury and dated some of the most famous women of the era. However, his life ended in tragedy, consumed with paranoia, he died a broken man, physically and emotionally. Vanity, all is vanity, may be true, but it is also true that humanity’s simple calling is to fear God and keep His Commandments.
