Perfection

The famous Green Bay Packers football coach, Vince Lombardi (the Super Bowl trophy is named after him), once said, “Perfection is unattainable, but if we chase perfection, we can reach excellence.” Nikki Six, the co-founder of the band Mötley Crüe, said, “Perfection is unattainable, so I like to live in imperfection.” It seems that our world lives in these two extremes, but Jesus had a better plan. Be perfect. This week we will examine the command and the promise of perfection.
