We Told You…

April 9, 2023 Pastor: Dr. David Lorenz

Passage: Luke 24:1–12

In the late 1400s, Vasco de Gamma sailed around the southern tip of Africa to reach India. It had never been done before. But he did it. He even returned home several years later, much to the delight of the Portuguese. Prior to his voyage, the southern coast of Africa was called the Cape of Storms, but after de Gamma, the name was changed to the Cape of Good Hope. Jesus did what had never been done before. He took what was fearful (death) and conquered it. He brought hope where there was despair. He is our Living Savior, the God of Hope. Celebrate his resurrection with us this weekend!
