It is always interesting to me how wealthy people seem to get lots of things for free. A restaurant owner will comp their meal, they’ll receive free tickets to a big event, or even get preferential treatment at an establishment. No one seems to mind but isn’t it the single dad or family just barely making it by that needs the free meal or special treatment. How much more would it mean to them than the celebrity, prominent politician, or wealthy business owner. As we think about living out an authentic faith, how we treat others matters.
