Good Worship

February 5, 2023 Pastor: Dr. David Lorenz Series: James

Passage: James 1:26–27

We use the word pure to describe a variety of things in our world: pure bred dogs, pure cane sugar, pure love, pure and simple, pure as the driven snow. The Bible uses the word to describe things that are without blemish, without defect. James narrows our attention even more by declaring that the purity of our worship is dependent upon how we live and how we care for others. Once we have looked in the mirror of God’s Word, our task is to live it out so our worship may be “spotless”.
