The Fall and Rise of a King

Did you know that it actually takes about 12 minutes to cook instant rice? And an express oil change takes about 10 minutes. As our society moves more and more into the age of technology, our commitment to waiting disappears. In the Bible, however, it is quite the opposite. Time and time again, we see God moving in the lives of people and in the history of nations over years or even centuries. As you consider how well you wait, do you find yourself content in waiting for God, surrendered to His will, or anxious to see the results “in an instant”?
