Divided Hearts

You may not know the name Quinndary Weatherspoon, but he is a World Champion. He is on the roster of the Golden State Warriors who won the NBA Championship this summer. However, Quinndary only played 66 total minutes all year (82 games plus 22 playoff games – 48 minutes each). Yet, he is a Champion. He has gotten to experience the blessing, the prestige, and the spoils of victory thanks to his teammates. I am confident he believes he provided some help to the team but knows players like Steph Curry and Klay Thompson were primarily responsible for the team’s success. I wonder how often God provides a way for us and we still want to take credit.
