Reforming behavior is difficult. About 50% of all prisoners released from jail or prison end up being arrested again. If you watch sports, it’s usually the same athletes and coaches that get into arguments with referees and umpires repeatedly. We all have our temptations, but if those weaknesses go unchecked, it can lead to a pattern of sin that becomes destructive not only to us, but to the body of Christ.
