Coming to your House Today

March 20, 2022 Pastor: Dr. David Lorenz Series: Easter 2022

Passage: Luke 19:1–10

When I was a kid, there was a tree at my dad’s house that I always climbed. The goal of tree climbing is to get as high in the tree as you can or as far out on a limb as you can without falling (or the tree limb breaking…causing you to fall). There is something special about being “above” everyone because you can see what others can’t. It’s hard to explain, but when you are a kid, climbing a tree is fun. As an adult, I don’t have much desire (or enough flexibility) to do so, but one man knew that climbing a tree was his only chance to see Jesus, so he did what it took to climb that tree.
