A Son is Born Unto Us

Think about your name. How long did it take your parents to name you? If you are a parent, how long did it take you to give your child a name after he or she was born? In the ancient world, babies often didn’t receive their name until eight days after birth, but one, the Christ-child, had his name chosen before his mother became pregnant. His name is Jesus, the name above every name! We celebrate the Son of God, born unto us.
