Never Satisfied

July 4, 2021 Pastor: Dr. David Lorenz Series: Jonah

Passage: Jonah 4

As our pre-teens spend the weekend at camp (pray for them and the leaders), we wrap up our study in Jonah. Jonah missed the point of his mission. As author Eugene Peterson says, “Jonah's sulking disappointment came from a failure of imagination, a failure of heart. He had no idea what God was doing--the largeness of his love and mercy and salvation.” Our calling is to always be on a mission of restoration… even when deep down, we don’t think someone can or should be restored.
