Don’t Wear That Again

When you buy new clothes do you give away or sell some of your old clothes to make room or do you just “make more room”? Clothing is a common metaphor in the Bible and Christians are reminded to cloth ourselves in new garments because of our relationship with Christ. However, I wonder how often, we just “make room” in our lives for the characteristics of Christ rather than getting rid of the old habits and lifestyles? It’s time to bring in the new and send out the old.
