We hope for all kinds of things, but when it comes to facing eternity, the word hope takes on different meaning. Musician John Mellencamp said, "I intend to make my ending good. I'm hoping it's one of those long, lingering deathbed conversions. A lot of people go, 'Oh, I hope I just die quick.' Not me. I need time to put things right." When we put our hope in Jesus, He makes things right and we can live with the assurance that things are right!
