Standing before the Lord

Have you ever “gone to bat” for someone? That is, you have defended them in a time of need. For those who are close to us, we find it easy to defend them and plead their case, but often it is hard for us to stand in defense of a person with whom we disagree. Abraham stood before the Lord to intercede for a city and the righteous within its walls. In the same way, we need to stand for those who need salvation, those who are righteous and those that need the presence of God.
