There are numerous opinions and thoughts about the Bible today. Some think of it as just another book, a great example of ancient literature, while others view it as God’s special revelation to us—His very words. Can we trust that we have the words of God? Is it more than just a book? If we trust we have God’s word, affirming it has authority over our lives, and it is living and active, what then should be our response when we read it or hear it proclaimed?
Weekly Memory Verse:
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12
