Please Note: our Easter Celebration with First Baptist Friendswood Kids is now subject to changes due to COVID-19. Please check this website for updates as they come available.
Learning about the Easter story through Resurrection Eggs has always been an important tradition starting in our Pre-K Sunday School class and continuing on into later years. During this time of distance learning, we would love for you to continue that tradition and take time to share a set of Resurrection Eggs with your child and walk through the Easter Story with them at home.
If your child is a current or former pre-k Sunday School attender, you should have your own set given to them by Mrs. Janie and Mr. Knape.
If you do not have a set and would like eggs to guide your child, they can be found at multiple places (lifeway.com, Amazon, etc). Ideas can also be found on Pinterest to make your own along with the lessons to teach.
Since we will not be having worship on campus on April 5th, Palm Sunday, we will not be having our annual palm celebration with Children's Ministry at church, but we invite you to create your own Palm Sunday fun at home by making your own Palm branch crafts. You may check our Children's Ministry Pinterest Page here for Palm Sunday ideas or you my follow this link by clicking on the picture to find a Palm Sunday craft that you can create at home. Tune into our Facebook Live worship service for a time of worship to shout "Hosanna" and wave your branches. www.facebook.com/firstbaptistfriendswood
We will keep you updated on Easter Sunday Services, April 12th as they come available.
