Committed until Completion

You have probably heard the old joke, I had bacon and eggs this morning for breakfast. The chicken was involved, but the pig was committed! Though not very funny, it illustrates a great truth about life. Jesus’ call on our life is one of commitment and sacrifice; one guided by joy, prayer and service to others. As we take this important next step in the life of First Baptist Friendswood, my prayer is that each of us would be committed to see Jesus complete His good work in us.
